Inpatients: Boarding / Hospitalization

Boarding and hospitalization in our veterinary clinic

Our cat ward contains 9 standard-sized comfortable hygienic cages for day cases and staying in overnight, each one contains a tray for food, a bowl for water, and a litter box to be emptied completely whenever it is soiled. We use litter as standard and as available in the market, but we do not mind clients bringing in their cat’s usual litter if preferred. We also use our standard food, but you are welcome to bring your preferred cat’s food (dry or canned) depending on the health condition of the cat.

P.S. Before admitting any pet in our ward:

On boarding / hospitalization admission, the vet will confirm with you what your pet is usually fed on and if your pet requires a special diet that we do not stock, of course you are welcome to supply us with their usual diet.

In critical cases, and surgeries, our cat ward can be connected immediately to the oxygen supply if needed for animals with breathing issues.

Heater and warm blankets are provided for additional warming for patients recovering from anesthesia after neutering or illness or in case of weak kittens.

All pets receiving intravenous fluids are connected to an infusion pump so that doses can be delivered precisely and safely.

We encourage owners to visit their pets who are hospitalized for longer periods of time. We also recommend clients to bring with them their pets’ favorite blanket and/or toy to make your pet feel more at ease.

All inpatients are cared for by our dedicated team during their stay.

Patients who stay with us for the weekend or for a few days often become very special to us and the team misses them when they finally return home.

Our veterinarian is on call outside of office hours daily from 10am-12pm and 8pm-10pm. The duty veterinary usually leaves the clinic at 8pm and returns at 12noon the next day. The duty veterinary carries out an assessment of all patients prior to departure.
