Streets are packed and shelters are filled with abandoned cats and dogs that need adoption, and feel the warmth, love, and care of an affectionate family and comforting home. Why buy them when we can adopt them. Considering adopting a rescue animal can be very rewarding. They deserve another chance to have a happy life.
Abandoned animals can be abused and malnourished, and will need plenty of love, attention, and reassurance in addition to the usual feeding, exercise, and rest.
The right pet should offer a reciprocal adaptation from the family to it and vice versa. They need to learn to trust you, so early impressions are essential.
